Privacy Policy
Dilo helps you practise speaking a language in role-play scenes. We collect as little as we can. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your voice. Speech is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition on your device. Audio is not sent to us.
- Your answers from the first screens (the language you learn, your goal, your level, your name and why you practise), your scene history, the scenes you create and the mistakes you repeat. They are stored on your device and deleted when you delete the app.
What is sent to our server, and why
- To play a scene, the text of the conversation (what you said and what the character said), the scene and your level are sent to our server on Cloudflare, which forwards them to an AI model provider (currently Groq) to write the character's reply, check the scene's tasks and, when you ask, the tutor's help. We do not store conversations on our server.
- A random identifier created when you install the app, used only to limit how many requests one install can make per day. Daily counters expire after about a day.
- When the story moves to a new place, a short place description (for example "café counter, morning") is used to create a background image with fal.ai. Images are shared between learners and contain nothing about you.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app checks your subscription with Apple on your device.
What we do not do
- No sign-up, email or phone number.
- No advertising, no selling or sharing of data for advertising, no cross-app tracking.
- No use of your conversations to train AI models by us.
Children
Dilo is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
You can delete your data at any time by deleting the app. Microphone access can be turned off in iOS Settings; you can still type.

Lo que se queda en tu iPhone
Tu voz se convierte en texto con el reconocimiento de voz de Apple en tu dispositivo; el audio no nos llega. Tus respuestas iniciales, tu nombre, tu historial y tus escenas se guardan en tu dispositivo y se borran al borrar la app.
Lo que se envía a nuestro servidor
El texto de la conversación, la escena y tu nivel se envían a nuestro servidor en Cloudflare y a un proveedor de IA (hoy Groq) para escribir la respuesta del personaje y la ayuda del tutor. No guardamos las conversaciones. Un identificador aleatorio de instalación limita las peticiones diarias. Las imágenes de fondo se crean con fal.ai a partir de una descripción del lugar, sin datos tuyos.

Las gestiona Apple. No vemos tus datos de pago.
